JAKARTA - European important leaders will attend talks between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Donald Trump in Washington, DC.
Reported by CNN, Trump on Monday afternoon local time or Tuesday morning WIB will first hold a face-to-face meeting with Zelenskyy. After that, Trump will meet European leaders.

Ahead of important negotiations with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the great delegation of European leaders, President Donald Trump gave a message he would convey to the guests of the White House.
Zelenskyy was asked to agree to several Russian conditions for the war in Ukraine to end.
President Zelenskyy of Ukraine can end the war with Russia almost instantly, if he wants, or he can continue to fight," Trump wrote on Truth Social as reported by CNN, Monday, August 18.
"Remember how this war started. No Obama will return after Crimea (12 years ago, without a single shot!), and IT WILL NOT GO TO NATO BY UKRAINE. Things never change !!," Trump continued.
The post underscores the pressure Zelenskyy will face on Monday as Trump seeks to end the conflict.
Two conditions Trump mentioned Ukraine should illegally hand over Crimea, which Russia annexed in 2014, and Ukraine agreed never to join NATO were among the conditions set by Vladimir Putin to end the war.

"I have arrived in Washington, tomorrow I will meet with President Trump. Tomorrow we will also talk to European leaders. I thank @POTUS for the invitation," Zelenskyy wrote on X as reported by CNN, Monday, August 18.
Zelenskyy will meet Trump for bilateral talks in the Oval Room, before Trump meets European leaders.
"We all have a strong desire to end this war quickly and reliably. And peace must last," Zelenskyy wrote.
"I am confident that we will defend Ukraine, guarantee the safety effectively, and that our people will always be grateful to President Trump, everyone in America, and every partner and ally for their invaluable support and assistance. Russia must end this war, which it started on its own," he explained.
Zelenskyy suggested new security guarantees should be more powerful than past failty' guarantees, citing the disappearance of Crimea to Russia, which Moscow illegally annexed in 2014.
"Ukraine people are fighting for their land, for their independence," he said.
The President of Ukraine hopes that the demonstration of power from the US and Europe will help "force Russia towards true peace."
