Minister Of Manpower: RI's 80th Anniversary Momentum To Build A Employment Ecosystem
JAKARTA - Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Yassierli said the commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia is an important momentum to build a better employment exosystem.
The Minister of Manpower in his statement in Jakarta, Sunday, emphasized the importance of removing barriers between work units, building solid collaborations, and uniting the vision and mission of the Ministry of Manpower.
"The spirit of being good, the loyalty of our friends and the work of gotong royong must be maintained. We unite as one body of the organization," he said.

He emphasized that the establishment of integrity, professionalism and competence of the bureaucracy is a form of the sovereignty of the Ministry of Manpower.
With this consolidation, the Ministry of Manpower will be solid, respected and able to become an authoritative public institution in managing the dynamics of the labor market.
Furthermore, the Minister of Manpower emphasized that welfare is not only a matter of income, but also an equal opportunity to get a decent, safe and productive job.
"Every individual must have the same opportunity, without discrimination. No one left behind," he said.
He added that job creation needs to be expanded through investment, entrepreneurship and new opportunities in line with technological developments.
Work is good, according to him, means fair wages, fair working hours, safe environment, and protection of social security and workers' rights.
Furthermore, the Minister of Manpower emphasized the importance of increasing labor competitiveness. Training and productivity centers throughout Indonesia must be a center for the development of the younger generation, as well as an ecosystem for the formation of competencies, work ethic and professional character.
In addition, the Minister of Manpower emphasized that the Ministry of Manpower's solid bureaucracy and the pro-people employment program are "golden bridges" towards an Advanced Indonesia.
He highlighted and encouraged the success of President Prabowo's priority programs, such as the Red and White Cooperative, industrial downstreaming, Free Nutrition Food (MBG), Free Health Checks (CKG), Public Schools and Indonesians which create quality jobs.
The spirit of Indonesia Incorporated requires us to be present as orchestrators who present solutions. Therefore, every leader from Echelon I, II, to the Head of Balai and Satpel must actively build cross-sectoral collaboration, "said the Minister of Manpower.
He also emphasized that independence demands maturity in acting and the courage to have a real impact.
For this reason, it is necessary for words that embrace, measurable steps, and missions that are truly felt by the people.
"Let's create a Sovereign Unity through a unified bureaucracy of the Ministry of Manpower with integrity; Prosperous People through inclusive and productive labor programs; and advanced Indonesia through cross-sector collaborative synergy for the realization of a quality world of employment," he said.
