JAKARTA - Infantry Colonel Amril H Tehupelasury served as commander of the ceremony to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Sunday, August 17, 2025.

He was born in Tulehu, Maluku, on November 1, 1979, and currently serves as deputy commander of the Indonesian Army Kopassus Group 1.
Meanwhile, the one who acted as the commander of the Paskibraka company was Adjunct Police Commissioner Raden Bimo Dwi Lambang.
He was born in Jakarta on September 16, 1994 and graduated from the 2016 Police Academy.
He is from Batam, Riau Islands, and currently serves as head of the Batuaji Police, Barelang Police, Riau Islands Police.
During the ceremony, President Prabowo Subianto acted as inspector of the ceremony.
The Heritage Flag-raising Troop Team, named "Indonesia Sovereign", was successfully tasked with flying the Red and White at the Commemoration Ceremony of the Seconds of the Proclamation on the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Sunday.
Bianca Alessia Christabella Lantang, who represents North Sulawesi Province, was chosen as the bearer of the Red and White flag. He comes from Lentera Harapan Tomohon High School.
Commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia in 2025 has the theme "United Sovereign, People of Prosperous, Advanced Indonesia". The theme reflects the spirit of nationality that continues to be maintained as the foundation for moving forward to the future.
