Investment Minister Pede Investment Targets IDR 2,175 Trillion Can Be Achieved With Danantara
JAKARTA - Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Rosan Perkasa Roeslani revealed that his ministry has an investment target of IDR 2,175 trillion in 2026.
"The target in 2026 launched by Bappenas (National Development Planning Agency) for us is IDR 2,175.26 trillion or an increase in the target of 14.2 percent from the previous year," said Rosan at the RAPBN Press Conference and Financial Note for Fiscal Year 2026 at the DGT Office, quoted on Saturday, August 16.
Rosan believes this target can be achieved by the existence of the Anagata Nusantara (Dantara) Power Investment Management Agency. According to him, the existence of Danantara can lead to this belief from investors, especially investors from abroad.

"Because now they know that through the Sovereign Wealth Fund they can also invest together with them in projects that are indeed seen to bring good returns and also what is important is job creation," said Rosan.
With this increase in investment targets, Rosan said that investment contributions are actually expected to continue to increase from year to year. Especially if this investment can create jobs, increase purchasing power and national export figures.
To boost investment figures, Rosan ensured that the government would fix the investment climate by changing Government Regulation (PP) Number 28 of 2025 concerning the Implementation of Risk-Based Business Licensing.
According to the CEO of Danantara, this regulation was indeed prepared to answer three main challenges, namely certainty of business licenses, simplification of processes, and restructuring regulations.
"This provides certainty to potential investments, especially in obtaining permits or permits," said Rosan.
