The Ummat Party Results Of National Conference I Appreciates And Supports The Performance Of President Prabowo's Government

JAKARTA - The Ummat Party appreciates the various achievements of President Prabowo Subianto's government, especially in the fields of education, health, and food security, as stated in the MPR Annual Session and the DPR-DPD RI Joint Session on August 15, 2025.

Chairman of the Ummat Party for the 2025'30 period as a result of National Conference I Kemang, Jakarta, Aznur Syamsu, SE, assessed that President Prabowo's administration has shown seriousness in strengthening the foundation of Indonesian human development through strategic policies that have a direct impact on people's lives.

"We appreciate President Prabowo's focus on sectors that directly touch the basic needs of the people. Education, health, and food security are the foundation of true social justice," said Aznur, Friday, August 15.

One of the policies that have been highlighted positively is the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program for students throughout Indonesia. This program not only supports the health of children, but also strengthens the concentration of learning and prevents stunting from an early age.

The MBG program is a concrete step in building a healthy and intelligent generation. This shows that the government is actually present in the midst of the people, "explained Aznur.

The Ummat Party also appreciates the development and strengthening of Superior Schools and People's Schools that expand access to quality education, especially in remote areas and grassroots communities.

"We support efforts to equalize education with a character-based approach, morals, and local empowerment. Schools are not just places of study, but centers of value formation and independence," he said.

In the health sector, the Ummat Party considers that increasing the budget and access to basic health services, including strengthening maternal and child services as well as Puskesmas facilities in disadvantaged areas, is an important step towards equitable distribution of public services.

"Health is the right of the people, not luxury. The government has shown partiality to the community through strengthening primary health services," said Aznur.

In the field of food security, the Ummat Party praised policies that support local farmers, encourage domestic production, and integrate the food sector with social program needs such as MBG. This policy is considered as a tangible manifestation of national food sovereignty.

"We fully support policies that favor farmers and make food security the main agenda. Indonesia must be sovereign in matters of the stomach of its people," he said.

Despite giving appreciation, the Ummat Party also encourages continuous improvements in field implementation. Challenges such as uneven distribution, supervision of food quality (MBG), limitations of health workers and teachers in disadvantaged areas, and gaps in supporting infrastructure still need to be addressed.

"Our support is not without record. We hope that President Prabowo will continue to improve the quality of policy implementation, ensuring that the benefits of the program are truly felt by all people to remote areas of the country," said Aznur.

As a political party based on the spirit of amar ma'ruf nahi munkar, the Ummat Party affirms its commitment to becoming a constructive critical partner, overseeing the running of the government in order to continue to side with social justice and the interests of the small people.
