The PDIP Faction Of The West Java DPRD Did Not Attend The Plenary Boycott Of The 2025 Revised APBD

All members of the West Java DPRD PDI-P faction did not attend the plenary meeting held at the local provincial DPRD Building as an attitude to boycott the West Java Revised APBD in 2025.

Although it was not attended by one faction consisting of 39 people, West Java DPRD Chairman Buky Wibawa stated that the plenary meeting could still be continued because it reached the quorum requirements.

"Today the meeting was attended by 81 legislative members out of a total of 120 people, still achieving quorum requirements, so the meeting can be continued," said Buyy at the West Java DPRD building in Bandung, Friday, August 15, as reported by ANTARA.

Deputy Chairperson of the West Java DPRD from the PDIP faction, Ono Surono, previously welcomed the plan to change the 2025 APBD which will re-allocate assistance to Islamic boarding schools and mosques.

However, in the 2025 Revised APBD until the final proposal agreed, West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi no longer budgeted for assistance for Islamic boarding schools in the Revised Regional Budget.

In fact, what appears in the Revised APBD is the new nomenclature, namely the scholarship for underprivileged students with a budget allocation of Rp. 10 billion.

"The PDI-P faction did not sign a joint approval for the 2025 West Java Provincial Budget Amendment," said Ono.

It is known that the plenary meeting which was held today has two agendas, first, the Budget Agency report, approval of the Raperda on Amendments to the West Java Provincial Budget in 2025, the signing of the Joint Agreement and Final Opinion of the Governor of West Java on the West Java Revised APBD in 2025.

Then, the second agenda is the Reses III report of the West Java DPRD for the 2024/2025 session.

Deputy Governor of West Java, Erwan Setiawan, who was asked about the absence of a member of the PDIP faction of the West Java DPRD in this plenary agenda as their political stance, did not want to respond.

"I'm sorry about that," said Erwan.
