Dedi Mulyadi Instructs To Remove UN Arrears
BEKASI - West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi instructed regional heads to abolish arrears in paying Land and Building Taxes (PBB) through an appeal letter addressed to regents and mayors throughout the region.
"There are areas that have implemented it, there are regions that will implement it. Bekasi will follow up on the letter I wrote," said Dedi after attending the plenary session of the 75th Anniversary of Bekasi Regency, Friday, August 15, as reported by ANTARA.
He explained that the exemption of UN Tax arrears starting in 2024 and previous years. All cities and districts in West Java are required to implement this policy.
"In general, Bogor, Purwakarta, Kuningan, Majalengka have also implemented it," he said.
According to him, the deletion in question will not affect income and even increase income. Because, those who are in arrears of tax, let alone for years, tend not to pay.
"This policy mechanism is like removing on motor vehicle taxes only," he said.
