South Jakarta Firefighters Evacuated Semen Trucks Slipped In Waterways
JAKARTA - A car loaded with cement fell into a water channel on Jalan Lebak Bulus 1, Cilandak Barat Village, Cilandak District, South Jakarta.
Residents then reported the incident to the South Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. for evacuation assistance.
"The vehicle handling object fell into the water channel. The operation was completed at around 14.25 WIB carried out by 4 personnel," said the firefighters in their statement, Friday, August 15, 2025.

The incident began when the driver of the cement truck was about to pull over for parking, but the driver did not see a ditch on the side of the road.
"Because the load was too big, the cover of the ditch was not strong enough to hold and the car fell into a ditch," he said.
The incident had caused traffic jams on Jalan Lebak Bulus 1 and was then reported to the Cilandak Damkar Sector Office for evacuation.
