KTM Presents Enduro And Supermoto Motorcycles With The Most Powerful Single Cylinder Machine

JAKARTA - Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM continues to expand its product line for 2026. This time, they launched two newest flagship motors: 690 Enduro R and 690 SMC R supermoto. Both models are claimed to be the most powerful in class, thanks to the revolutionary single-cylindrical engine.

KTM said these two motorbikes carried an updated single-cylindrical LC4 engine. This machine is now in accordance with the Euro 5+ standard and has revised the engine tub, coupling, and cover of the station. The oil system is also redesigned to improve performance and reliability. This formidable engine is capable of vomiting up power of 77.9 bhp and torque 53.9 lb.ft. This figure makes it the strongest single cylindrical engine on the market today.

Not only machines, KTM also embeds various advanced features on these two models. Drivers will be spoiled with a 4.2-inch TFT screen, a redesigned switch, and a USB-C charging port.

For 690 Enduro R, KTM adds some of the latest electronic features, such as Cornering ABS, Cornering MTC (Motorcycle Track Control), and most interestingly, Dynamic Slip Adjust. This feature is available in Rally driving mode options and allows transactions to adapt in real-time according to terrain conditions.

Meanwhile, 690 SMC Rs also receive similar features, coupled with selectable driving modes and customizable ABS modes. Drivers can also connect their smartphones via KTMConnect for more intuitive experiences.

Reported Visordown, Friday 12 August, these two motorbikes will be available in the UK starting September 2025 at a price starting at 10,499 pounds, equivalent to Rp2340 million.
