Geely Acquires GIIAS 2025 Visitors, Wins 866 Orders

JAKARTA Geely Auto Indonesia made a sweet debut at the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). The prestigious automotive exhibition which took place in early August became a stage for this Chinese brand to show its portfolio strength, as well as captivate visitors.

Since the first day, Geely booths have never been quiet. The curiosity of visitors is provoked through direct interaction, question and answer sessions, to deep interest in the three global models brought: Geely Xingyuan, Starray EM-i, and luxury MPV Geely L380. Not to forget, the Geely EX5 electric SUV that has already been marketed in Indonesia is also in the spotlight.

Typical features become a hot topic among visitors. Geely Xingyuan, for example, gets a lot of attention because it has a wide and practical trunk front (front area) something that is rarely encountered in its segment. Starray EM-i sparked discussions about its smart hybrid technology which is claimed to be able to provide driving range of more than 1,000 km. While L380 successfully captivated the hearts of families looking for large-capacity MPVs with premium convenience.

"It's great to hear firsthand the curiosity of visitors to our products. Starting from the Geely Xingyuan twin front, the efficiency of Starray EM-i, to the comfort of L380 which is in great demand by the family. All of these inputs are valuable provisions for us. We are also proud because we have recorded 866 Vehicle Ordering Letters (SPK)," said Sales & Channel Development Director Geely Auto Indonesia, Constantinus Herlijoso, in his official statement, Friday, August 15.

This enthusiasm confirms the potential line of Geely products to meet various mobility needs of Indonesian people starting from pure electric vehicles to smart hybrid technology and reaching various lifestyles and market segments.

The first positive participation at GIIAS 2025 is proof of Geely's seriousness in presenting modern, innovative, and environmentally friendly mobility solutions, in line with the electrification direction of the national automotive industry.
