Business With Agnez Mo Completed, Ari Bias Prepares Legal Steps For Organizers
JAKARTA - Ari Bias decided to end his legal case with Agnez Mo. After accepting the decision of the Supreme Court (MA) which granted Agnez's appeal, he also withdrew the report at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police Headquarters.
However, Ari emphasized that he did not want to just give up on fighting for the right to his creation. He is preparing new steps to "pounce up" event organizers.
"My legal authority will follow up, while waiting for the Supreme Court's full decision for further legal steps against event organizers," Ari said, citing his statement on Instagram, Friday, August 15.
Meanwhile, Ari Bias's civil lawsuit against Agnez Mo was based on the commercial use of the song Bilang Saja commercially without permission in three shows, namely at W Superclub Surabaya on May 25, 2023, at H Club Jakarta on May 26, 2023, and at W Superclub Bandung on May 27, 2023.
In this case, PT Aneka Bintang Gading is referred to as the organizer, who is the defendant in the case that has been decided by the Supreme Court.
For information, Ari Bias learned that Agnez Mo's cassation was granted by the Supreme Court on Thursday, August 14. He decided to respect the decision and promised not to submit a judicial review (PK).

"I am grateful that this legal process has finally ended at the cassation level, and I hope that all parties can take lessons from the long journey of this case," said Ari.
"I believe God has planned all of this by His will, and His plan is definitely the best. However, there is still one thing left to really complete this struggle," he added.
The day after, Ari decided to withdraw the police report submitted at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police Headquarters in mid-2024.
"I have conveyed to investigators from the Dittipideksus Bareskrim Polri to revise the LP (which is currently still in the investigation process) in order to revoke or release the reported from all allegations," he said.
"And I reiterate my promise, THERE WILL BE NO PK," concluded Ari Bias.
