Sandy Walsh Officially Joins Buriram United From Yokohama F Marinos
JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team player, Sandy Walsh officially continued his career in the Thai League (Thai League 1) with Buriram FC. Previously, Walsh was known to defend Japanese club, Yokohama F. Marinos.
The news of Walsh's move was uploaded by the two teams concerned on Friday, August 15, 2025. Yokohama F. Marinos expressed his gratitude for Walsh's contribution while joining, while Buriram warmly welcomed the new player's presence.

"Buriram United proudly announced that we have officially reached an agreement with Yokohama F. Marinos regarding Sandy Walsh's transfer," Buriram wrote in the latest photo in their upload.
Before being officially announced by Buriram, Sandy Walsh's anchor to Thai League 1 circulated first. This cannot be separated from the list of players in the Thai League operator a few days ago. At that time, both Buriram and Yokohama Marinos had not announced anything about Sandy's transfer.

With this inauguration, Buriram became Sandy's fifth club in his professional career after Genk, Zulte Waregem, Mechelen, and Yokohama F. Marinos. His first three clubs are based in Belgium.
The 30-year-old has strengthened Yokohama F. Marinos since the beginning of this year. Together with the Japanese club, Sandy has played eight times for the team.
The player, who has scored two goals in 20 appearances with the Indonesian national team, became Buriram's fourth foreign player from ASEAN country.
Previously, the club nicknamed Thunder Castle Warriors already owned Neil Etheridge from the Philippines, Ilhan Fandi from Singapore, and other Indonesian national team players Shayne Pattynama.
