JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya continues to strive to eradicate narcotics trafficking. Recently, efforts to smuggle 516 kilograms of methamphetamine were thwarted.

Director of Drugs at Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ahmad David said that the failure to circulate methamphetamine began with the arrest of three suspects in the Grogol area, West Jakarta, on Thursday, July 10.

The suspects had the initials SA, DE, and AW. They want to smuggle 11 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine.

"Of the three suspected perpetrators, we have secured 11 kilograms of methamphetamine which is stored in a suitcase," David told reporters, Friday, August 15.

From the arrest, development was carried out. As a result, again arrested three suspects with the initials AD, DM, MM on Thursday, July 31.

They were arrested in two different locations. The suspect AD was arrested in the Pondok Aren area, South Tangerang. The police confiscated 25 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine.

Meanwhile, DM and MM were arrested at a hotel in the Gandaria area, South Jakarta. Police found 10 kilograms of methamphetamine.

"Of the three suspects, kilograms of methamphetamine were secured," he said.

Development continues. Until finally arresting someone who is believed to be a big dealer. Regarding his identity, it has not been disclosed in detail on the grounds that an investigation is still being carried out.

The airport was arrested by the parking lot of a hospital in the Pondok Kopi area, East Jakarta.

"Which coincidentally at that time will trade one kilogram of crystal methamphetamine and 22 grams of methamphetamine packages hidden in the motorcycle seat," said David.

From the evidence found, the dealer was asked to show a narcotics warehouse. Thus, the police were directed to the dealer's rented house in the Bekasi City area.

There, the police found hundreds of packages of methamphetamine. When calculated and weighed, the total reached 470 kilograms.

"We searched and found evidence with a fantastic amount of 470 kilograms in packages of 484 packs," said David.
