Taylor Swift Reveals Meaning Behind Album Cover The Life Of A Showgirl

JAKARTA - Taylor Swift revealed her latest album, 'The Life Of A Showgirl', via the New Heights podcast hosted by her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and her brother, Jason 'early this week.

On the podcast, Swift shows off her new album, with the cover of the album by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, featuring Swift in the bathtub.

The cover is closely related to the contents of the album The Life Of A Showgirl, where the 35-year-old pop star wants to tell about her life behind the record-breaking Eras Tour screen.

"The day I end up in the bathtub, not usually in sparkling dresses... I want to glorify all aspects of this tour," Swift said.

"I want to have moments off stage as the cover of the main album because this album isn't really about what's happening on stage, but what's happening off stage," he continued.

Swift went on to say that her new album will focus on what happens behind the scenes in her inner life during the 'tourism' that is so cheerful, excited, and full of enthusiasm.

"It comes from the most contagious, full of joy, wild, and dramatic places in my life," Swift said. And that spirit has appeared in this album. And like, like you say, amazing songs.

Furthermore, the Cruel Summer' singer explained, the purpose of this album is so contagious melodies that you are almost angry with because of it and also lyrics that are equitable, sharp, focused, and completely intentional.

The Life Of A Showgirl, Swift said, would be different from the previous album "The Torturing Poets Department" which was released last year because there won't be any extra songs.

For information, The Life Of A Showgirl will be released on October 3. Swift is still acting as a co-producer, with two musicians from Sweden, Max Martin and Shellback.

There are 12 songs for the upcoming album, where Sabrina Carpenter is the only collaborator, who co-sing the title-track The Life Of A Showgirl.
