Industrial Actors Collaboration Is The Key To Targeting 3 Million Houses Achieved

JAKARTA - Cross-sectoral collaboration is the key in pursuing the target of 3 million houses initiated by President Prabowo Subianto.

Deputy Minister of PKP RI, Fahri Hamzah, represented by the Director of Settlement Areas of the Directorate General of Settlement Areas of the Ministry of PKP, Edward Abdurrahman, said that collaboration like this is important to accelerate the fulfillment of national program targets.

"Initiatives like this are real examples of how the business world and universities can synergize with the government in realizing livable houses that are quickly built, affordable, but still prioritize local cultural identity," said Edward.

Support was also conveyed by the Governor of South Sumatra, Herman Deru, represented by the Head of the South Sumatra Province Housing and Settlement Area Office, Novian Aswardani.

He considered this activity as a strategic opportunity for strengthening the industry and education ecosystem in the regions.

He said that collaboration between universities and industries in developing homes based on environmentally friendly light steel technology has a big influence.

"This is not only about housing, but also local economic empowerment, adaptive construction workforce regeneration and most importantly still include elements of local culture in its design," said Novian.

Director of PT Tatalogam Lestari Stephanus Koeswandi expressed his gratitude for the trust given by the government and the world of education.

The flash installation competition for light steel frame houses features competition between building service actors and students majoring in civil engineering to build light steel houses in a limited time with efficiency and accuracy.

Meanwhile, the Malay home design competition raised the creativity of young students and architects who combine the power of lightweight steel technology with the beauty of local architecture.

Selain menjadi ajang kompetisi, kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi inspirasi nasional untuk pengembangan model rumah cepat bangun, estetis, sesuai dengan standar teknis dan berakar pada kearifan lokal.

Dengan kolaborasi berkelanjutan, cita-cita menghadirkan hunian yang layak bagi seluruh masyarakat Indonesia akan semakin mendekati kenyataan.

In addition to being a competition event, this activity is expected to be a national inspiration for the development of a fast-building house model, aesthetically, in accordance with technical standards and rooted in local wisdom.
