Will Jamu Persib, Persijap Jepara Hope Full Support Support Supporters

JAKARTA - Persib Bandung will be the opponent that Persijap Jepara will face in the second week of the 2025/2026 Super League. Will host Maung Bandung at home, Laskar Kalinyamat troops hope for full support from supporters.

Persijap, which is a promotional team this season, will have a difficult match because they have to host Persib who are defending champions. This match will take place at the Gejora Bumi Kartini Stadium, Jepara, on Monday, August 18, 2025.

Facing Persib, who has won the competition twice in a row, Persijap troops were asked not to be afraid.

"Preparations are going well. We are working hard to improve things that have not been maximized in the last game and make some adjustments to Persib's way of playing," Mario Lemos said in a statement released by the club Thursday, August 14, 2025.

"We play at home, so we have to get energy from the support of the fans. That could be an additional force for the team," he said.

According to the Portuguese coach, the status as a promotion team is not an excuse to appear half-hearted. In fact, it was used as an encouragement to prove the quality of the team in the higher league.

"Play like nothing is at stake. We have to be together at every moment of the game and play confidently," said the coach.
