Inspection Of Rice Warehouse In Cakung, Police Will Take Strict Action If Hoarding Is Found
JAKARTA - Sub-Directorate of Industry and Trade (Indag) of the Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya conducted an inspection at a rice warehouse in the Cakung area, East Jakarta, Thursday, August 14, 2025.
Head of Sub-Directorate for Indag Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Muhammad Ardila Amry stated that his party was checking the warehouse to ensure the availability of rice stocks and quality in the market.
In addition, inspections were also carried out as an effort to anticipate the practice of hoarding rice after many cases of mixed rice.
The officer checked every premium rice that had been packaged, ensuring the amount of rice according to the packaging label checked the production date to carry out regular rice quality tests.
"The check is certain, we also monitor and check until distributing," said AKBP Ardila, Thursday, August 14, 2025.

According to AKBP Ardila, his party will continue to carry out regular sample tests to ensure the quality of rice circulating in the market in accordance with the provisions.
"We guarantee consumers get rice according to quality and quality," he said
Furthermore, Ardila said the Metro Jaya Police Food Task Force also dispatched a team to check a number of other locations, including Cipinang.
"The focus of this inspection is to ensure the availability of rice so that there is no shortage in the market," he said.
Ardila emphasized that his party would take firm action if there were indications of hoarding rice by business actors.
"If there are indications of stock detention or hoarding, law enforcement will be carried out," he said.
