Toyota Again Reminds Alphard Owners To Yaris Production 20012016 To Check Free Airbags At Official Workshops
JAKARTA - PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) has held campaign recalls for several of its models since 2015. This is for checking airbags of inflators for Alphard, NAV1, Camry, Corolla, Vios, and Yaris models for 2001' 2016 production at Toyota's official workshop.
Now, Toyota reminds the car owners above to check at the official workshop. The goal is for safety to drive on the road.
Vice President Director of PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM), Henry Tanoto, said that in line with the value Customer First, Toyota Indonesia is committed to always paying attention and responsibility to all products marketed, including the old production year.
"Given the possibility of danger if left unchecked, we invite owners of Alphard, NAV1, Camry, Corolla, Vios, and Yaris for the 2001 '2016 production year who have not conducted airbag inflators inspections, to come to Toyota's official workshop throughout Indonesia. Furthermore, Toyota will examine and replace the airbag of the inflator to ensure that this component is in accordance with the required technical specifications," he said, in an official statement, Thursday, August 14.

Furthermore, Toyota's official workshop will conduct an inspection or replacement of the airbag inflator component. Worked by a global Toyota certified expert technician so that the process takes place quickly and safely, an estimated work of around 1-3.5 hours depending on the vehicle model.
Toyota customers are advised to do booking service first, so that dealers can prepare stalls and technicians, and they don't have to wait too long for queues because they are scheduled. The entire inspection process until the final check is free of charge.
