The Minister Of Home Affairs Admits That He Has Reprimanded The Regent Of Sadewo About The PBB Pati Up 250 Percent

JAKARTA - Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Muhammad Tito Karnavian revealed that he had directly reprimanded Regent Pati Sudewo regarding the Rural and Urban Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2) in Pati up to 250 percent.

"I immediately called the Regent of Pati (Sudewo), the Governor of Central Java (Ahmad Luthfi). I asked why the mechanism was like that," he said when met in North Jakarta, Thursday, was confiscated by Antara.

"So the regional regulations are made by the DPRD, but are general in nature and determine the rates by districts and cities. Therefore, said Tito, this afternoon his party will hold an online meeting with all regional heads to identify which areas experienced an increase in the UN.

The demonstration of residents was held in the Pati City Square area, precisely in front of the entrance to the Pati Regency Hall.

The crowd in the action urged Regent Pati Sudewo to resign from his position because he was considered arrogant. The action also led to chaos and clashes until the police took repressive action.
