Ari Bias Has Accepted The Supreme Court's Decision Which Accepts Agnez Mo's Cassation

JAKARTA - In the midst of copyright polemics related to the use of songs/music in public spaces, Agnez Mo's case with Ari Bias reappeared to the surface.

The reason is, Ari Bias via Instagram Story said that his case with Agnez Mo which was currently underway at the Supreme Court (MA) had been decided, with the panel of judges accepting the appeal filed by Agnez.

"I fully respect the decision of the Supreme Court which granted the cassation," wrote Ari Bias.

VOI tried to contact the songwriter 'Just Cross' via text message. He also stated that he had accepted the Supreme Court's decision.

"Already (received the Supreme Court's decision)," Ari replied briefly, via text message on Thursday, August 14.

Although it has the right to apply for a Review (PK), the songwriter who is a member of the All-Indonesian Composter Association (AKSI) stated that he would not continue the legal process.

"Like my promise, there will be no PK," he said.

Ari is grateful that the long process for the case can end, and hopes that all parties can take lessons.

"I am grateful that this legal process has finally ended at the cassation level, and I hope that all parties can take lessons from the long journey of this case," said Ari.

"I believe God has planned all of this by His will, and His plans are definitely the best. However, there is still one thing left to really complete this struggle," he said.
