Police Make Sure Women Are Found In The Jati Ponorogo Forest, A Murder Victim
PONOROGO - Ponorogo Resort Police, East Java stated that the body of a woman found on the edge of a teak forest in Boworejo Hamlet,ampung Village,ampung District, Ponorogo Regency, Tuesday, August 12, was a murder victim.
The conclusion was obtained from the autopsy results of the forensic team at the Bhayangkara Kediri Hospital, the East Java Regional Police, which found wounds from blunt objects on the head and traces of snares on the victim's neck.
"There was a blunt object hugging on the head and a snare of a rope attached to the victim's neck," said the forensic surgeon of the East Java Police, dr. Tutik Purwanti, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, August 14.
According to him, the victim's death is estimated to have occurred more than eight hours before the residents were found on Tuesday morning.
The victim also suffered bleeding in the head and has shown signs of decay during the autopsy.
Based on identification, the victim was identified as Alip Rahayu Arianti (30), a resident of Bandar Village/District, Pacitan Regency, who works as a salon employee in Purwantoro District, Wonogiri Regency, Central Java.
The identity of the victim was confirmed through an ID card found at the scene and the fingerprints matched.

Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Ponorogo Police, AKP Imam Mujali, said that his party had examined four witnesses, including the victim's family, to reveal the perpetrator.
"We are still developing the identity of the perpetrator," he said.
Previously, local residents found the victim half naked on the edge of the wood forest teak 99 RPH Tulung when they were about to look for animal feed. The discovery shocked local residents.
