OTT Inhutani V Regarding The Utilization Of Forest Area Permits

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed a hand arrest operation (OTT) that helped secure one of the directors of the Forest Industry (Inhutani) V related to the management of a forest area utilization permit. This silent operation was carried out on Wednesday, August 13.

"(OTT related, red) bribery in the processing of permits for the use of forest areas," said Deputy Chairperson of the KPK Fitroh Rochahyanto to reporters, Thursday, August 14.

Fitroh also agrees that money is secured in the OTT. The total is said to reach Rp. 2 billion.

"It's true (there was Rp2 billion in money found, ed)," he said.

Even so, Fitroh is still closing the meeting on which directors of the state-owned company are involved. The party caught by the OTT has undergone an intensive examination at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

The KPK will later announce the suspects through a press conference. They will also announce the complete construction of the case.
