Viral On TikTok Rp1.0 Denomination Money For THR, Peruri: That's Sample Money, Not A Legitimate Payment Tool
JAKARTA - Posting or uploading a video account with the name @puspotv showing off a sheet that looks like a banknote went viral on TikTok social media. The paper reads Perum Peruri Specimen 1.0. The 13-second video has been shared 10,000 times and 5,966 comments.
"Ngasih THR pake this denomination money is exciting times yes 😂. You guys have yet?," he wrote, quoted Monday, May 10.
One of the accounts with the name @kartadiretja commented on the post. He explained that this is not a new money from the government like 75,000.
'It's not new money. Perum Peruri specimen 1.0 trial money in 2016 and not for the public. Sold online by collectors at a high price," he said.
Perum Money Printing Republic of Indonesia (Peruri) also raised the talk related to the virality of this banknote-like sheet. On his official Instagram account, Peruri said if specimen money or sample money or House Note is published by a printer banknote or a money printing company.
