Holds Coordination Meeting With DPD RI And Governor Of DIY, Coordinating Minister AHY: Synergy To Support Asta Cita President

JAKARTA - The Indonesian House of Representatives held a coordination meeting with the Coordinating Ministry for Regional Infrastructure and Development, and the Governor of DI Yogyakarta and regional heads in Central Java at the Nusantara V Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, August 13.

The coordination meeting was attended by the Coordinating Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Development, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), the Governor of Yogyakarta Sultan Hamengkubuwono X, and the Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives GKR Hemas and their ranks.

This joint meeting discussed infrastructure development in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) and Central Java.

"Alhamdulillah, the event has been running smoothly, and we from the Regional Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia are trying to build communication with the central government by meeting this time," said GKR Hemas at a press conference at the Parliament Complex, Wednesday, August 13.

GKR Hemas said, DPD RI has a big role in regional development, especially Java Island.

"And what we discussed earlier was southern Java for infrastructure development," he said.

The Coordinating Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Development, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), added that in accordance with Asta Cita Presiden Prabowo Subianto, in point two regarding food security and point six related to economic equity, this coordination meeting is an effort to synergize cooperation between executives and legislatures.

"How is the synergy between the DPD RI and the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and the Sultan of DIY to support Asta Cita Presiden, especially in DIY," said AHY.

Specifically for the DPD RI, AHY assessed that the institution led by Sultan Bachtiar Najamuddin was trying to open up so that infrastructure could be built evenly in all regions, so that regional economic development could come out.

"As previously stated by the Governor of Yogyakarta, that the toll roads that can penetrate from south to north, so that agricultural products around southern Java can come out to be able to walk out", explained AHY.
