Pertamina Patra Niaga Will Salurkan Avtur Based On Crude Oil
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga will distribute Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in line with the inaugural lifting momentum at the Pertamina Cilacap Refinery.
Pertamina Patra Niaga President Director, Mars Ega Legowo Putra said that Pertamina Patra Niaga as the front line in marketing Pertamina's products, is ready to market and distribute SAF.
Furthermore, Mars Ega said that in serving energy needs, in implementing from the Sustainability side, SAF has also obtained International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) certification for the Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA) and the Renewable Energy Directive-European Union (RED-EU) scheme.
"From the market side, penetration is ready, starting with the use by Pelita Air and in terms of production, product availability has also been prepared by the Pertamina International Refinery," said Mars Ega, quoted Wednesday, August 13.
Mars Ega emphasized Pertamina Patra Niaga's commitment to running this program by referring to the Triple Bottom Line concept, namely People, Planet, Profit.

"The main raw material for SAF, namely UCO, comes from the community. Therefore, we will invite the community to contribute to collecting UCO to be processed into SAF and can be felt the benefits of this program widely for the community," he said.
Furthermore, Mars Ega conveyed that with the readiness of SAF marketing, this shows that Pertamina Patra Niaga's concrete steps to support decarbonization in the aviation sector.
In the future, continued Mars Ega, Pertamina Patra Niaga is ready to support and collaborate with Pertamina Group to expand the active involvement of people in the SAF ecosystem throughout Indonesia.
