Receiving WAMI's Official Response, Ari Lasso: This Is Still Far From Over

JAKARTA - Ari Lasso seems to want to be more serious about talking about the governance of music royalties in Indonesia. He felt dissatisfied even though the problem had been officially responded to by Wahana Musik Indonesia (WAMI).

Through his Instagram account, the former vocalist of Dewa 19 admitted that he had received the official WAMI letter, but there was an impression that he felt he was being blamed for entering the wrong data.

I'm a FAIR person. Even though there is a wrong impression, why am I, because my email data is different," wrote Ari Lasso, citing the caption of the upload, Tuesday, August 12.

"Well, my email name is Ari Lasso, it hasn't changed for how many years. I'm Gen Z, the name Ari Lasso, the email is a child. mouse," he added.

Not only that, Ari also questioned the screenshot evidence from WAMI and Adi Adrian's comments as President Director, who stated that they had responded since yesterday.

The 52-year-old singer appreciated the response given by WAMI, but felt that the problem had not been resolved.

Ari sees that there is a problem with royalty governance that must receive attention. The Hampa singer even asked WAMI to provide a complete explanation of the distribution of royalties to its members.

"But this GOVERNANCE PROBLEM is far from over. Maybe for this case, it is considered only a minor technical error by WAMI. But the point is not that," he said.

"Friends of musicians (but my friends lost the kabeh) and WAMI needed to sit down together, at least WAMI explained that they used the trigonometric formula, algebra, differential, or RUMUS MEKA KUANTUM so that from tens of millions they only dripped 760 thousand," he added.

"LET THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE MUSICIAN MEET WITH THE WAMI, WITH THE HEARTS OF THE LAPANG AND THE HEAD OF THE COLD. OPEN, THERE ARE NO LOBBIES INDEPENDENT," said Ari Lasso.
