Indonesian Women's National Team Player, Claudia Scheunemann, Officially Joins FC Utrecht
JAKARTA - The attacker for the Indonesian Women's National Team, Claudia Scheunemann, officially joined the Dutch club, FC Utrecht Vrouwen. During the inauguration on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, Claudia was awarded a contract for the next three seasons.
"FC Utrecht has secured the arrival of Claudia Scheunemann. This talented Indonesian striker has signed a contract that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2028," wrote FC Utrecht via the club's official website quoted Tuesday, August 12, 2025.
FC Technical Manager Utrecht Vrouwen, Marlou Peeters, said Claudia's presence would be a valuable addition to ammunition for the club.
"We are very pleased with Claudia's arrival. His technical expertise and insight into football make him a valuable asset for FC Utrecht."
"As a playmaker for the Indonesian national team, he shows his extraordinary potential during training with us. We can't wait to see him shine in a red and white shirt," Peeters said.

Officially part of the FC Utrecht, Claudia said she was happy. The 16-year-old forward is ready to compete to become the mainstay player for FC Utrecht at the Vrouwen Eredivisie, the highest level competition for women's football in the Netherlands.
"Signing my first professional contract with FC Utrecht and being the first Indonesian-derived player to sign a contract in Europe's top league means a lot to me."

FC Utrecht Vrouwen became one of the top teams in Eredivisie Vrouwen. Last season, FC Utrecht finished fourth, below Twente, PSV, and Ajax.
