Ari Lasso Is Furious With WAMI, Ivanka Slank Sentil Adi Kla And Makki Ungu
JAKARTA - Ari Lasso's disappointment with Wahana Musik Indonesia (WAMI) has attracted the attention of several major musicians, one of whom is the bassist of Slank, Ivanka.
As is known, the former vocalist of Dewa 19, expressed his frustration via Instagram, where WAMI sent a report on the distribution of royalties on behalf of other people.
Ivanka responded to Ari's upload, where the bassist who has been with Slank for 28 years asked the two well-known musicians who are WAMI administrators to respond.
@adiadrian22, wrote Ivanka in the comments column, asking Adi Adrian, keyboardist of KLa Project and also the President Director of WAMI to provide an explanation.
"Alhamdulillah Kang Mas.. very promising management of the Indonesian music industry. @makki_parikesit," wrote Ivanka again, this time marking the Makki Ungu account.
Apart from Ivanka, several musicians who commented included Bagus NTRL, Tompi, Denny Chasmala, Rieka Roslan, Anji, and Ronald Fristianto.

Bagus NTRL hopes that what Ari Lasso voiced can be a valuable lesson for the management of music royalties in Indonesia. He asked musicians to work together to find solutions in the right way.
"Hopefully this moment will be a lesson for all parties to start a good royalty system and true distribution, as well as provide awareness to the wider community that we must respect copyrighted works for the sustainability of the music industry in a healthy Indonesia," wrote Bagus.
For fellow songwriters, musicians, music lovers, and all parties involved. Let's discuss each other's best solution to this without any interest and ego, because we are a big family that should unite with each other, work together, work hand in hand and help like the teachings of our ancestors before. Don't be divided. If not now when will it be. For the future a better system for our children and Indonesia Raya.
