Minnie (G) I-DLE Debuts Acting In Remake Film 50 First Dates

JAKARTA - Minnie from the I-DLE group will debut as an actress in the Thai film. He is confirmed to have joined the remake of the Hollywood film, 50 First Dates.

50 First Dates tells the story of Henry Roth (Adam Sandler) only dating tourists he meets at his workplace to avoid commitment. One day, he meets Lucy (Drew Barrymore) repeatedly, but it turns out that Lucy doesn't remember Henry at all.

Minnie will play the female lead who has a short memory, while the male lead is Nadech Kugimiya.

This film is a collaboration between Sony Pictures and GDH as the production house for Thailand. Mez Tharatorn is the director of this film.

Nadech Kugimiya is an actor from Thailand who starred in various films and lakorn and singers. In 2024, he succeeded in the film Death Whisperer 2 and filled the animated voice of Lion King.

In addition to the 50 First Dates, he also acted in the Death Whisperer 3 film which is planned to air this year.

Minnie has acted in a comedy series, So Not Worth It in 2021. This film became the acting debut on the big screen.

In addition to acting, Minnie is more active with I-DLE groups who perform at various festivals.

Meanwhile, the production of Thailand's 50 First Dates film will begin in October.
