Claude Now Can Remember Previous Conversations If Asked
JAKARTA - Anthropic announced that now its AI chatbot, Claude, has the ability to remember previous conversations, but selectively.
This means that you can only use this feature when you specifically ask for it. That way, your privacy will be maintained.
Through a video uploaded on YouTube, this feature will allow users to continue projects that had stalled or re-asked details from previous research sessions without having to repeat explanations.
However, Claude will not automatically call a chat history, and the memory is also specific in certain workspaces or projects.
This approach is slightly different from OpenAI's ChatGPT, which since April automatically stores all conversations and uses them to personalize answers in the next interaction.
Not long ago, Anthropic announced that he had taken firm action to limit OpenAI's access to the Claude model. This is done so that OpenAI does not use Claude illegally.
Launching from Wired's report, a source familiar with this matter said that OpenAI had connected Claude to its internal apparatus. In fact, this action violates the terms of service provided by Anthropic.

Anthropic said that OpenAI technical staff had also used their coding tools before the GPT-5 was launched.
This action is claimed to be a form of violation because Anthropic prohibits the use of Claude to develop the AI model.
Even though OpenAI's access is limited, Anthropic provides relief by not cutting off all access to Claude, so that OpenAI can still evaluate and compare its AI security.
