Pangan Kasih Bazaar Was Enthusiastically Welcomed by Visitors

JAKARTA - Over four days, from August 7–10, 2025, the Pangan Kasih Bazaar at the Exhibition Hall, West Mall 5th Floor, Grand Indonesia, was met with great enthusiasm and vibrant crowds.

Supported by Grand Indonesia alongside partners such as Garuda Indonesia, Growell, Erha, and BLP Beauty, the event blended a strong social mission with the spirit of entrepreneurship education for youth.

Beyond the busy transactions and bustling booths, the bazaar carried two noble goals: providing clean water access to Timor Island and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset among high school students.

Michelle Haryono, Founder & Events/Finance Coordinator, emphasized that the Pangan Kasih Bazaar is more than just a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fundraising event for the clean water program.

“Through the Pangan Kasih Bazaar, we aim to give high school students with ideas and skills the opportunity to create, train themselves to become entrepreneurs from an early age, and learn directly from real-world business experiences. It’s not only about selling products, but also about building resilience, creativity, and confidence,” said Michelle.

Jasmine Setiady, Founder & Social Media/Logistics Coordinator, highlighted the teamwork behind the scenes.

"This event was the result of relentless teamwork. From planning to execution, every member poured in their dedication, creativity, and problem-solving skills. We worked side by side, supporting each other every step of the way," said Jasmine.

One participant who benefitted from the experience was Abby, a student from Penabur International School and one of the youthpreneur tenants.

“I’m grateful for the chance to take part in this bazaar. I learned how to sell, serve customers, and manage a small business. This experience has been truly valuable,” said Abby.

The Pangan Kasih Bazaar brought together a unique mix of professional tenants offering high-quality products and youthpreneurs—high school students presenting fresh ideas. The interaction between visitors and these young entrepreneurs created a dynamic, inspiring, and positive atmosphere throughout the event.

Behind the success was a core team made up of: Michelle Haryono (Founder & Events/Finance Coordinator), Jasmine Setiady (Founder & Social Media/Logistics Coordinator), Sherine Suryadi (Head of Events), Karen Mak (Vice Head of Events), Kathrine Marzuki & Chloe Danu (Head of Social Media), Alicia Caitlyn Susanto (Head of Logistics), Kayana Kalyca (Vice Head of Logistics), Enzo Hardiman (Head of Finance), and Joshua Lewi (Vice Head of Finance).

By combining social impact and education, the Pangan Kasih Bazaar proved that an event can serve as both a platform for meaningful contributions and a space to shape the character of the nation’s next generation of leaders.
