5 Months Pregnant LC Case Proof Of Lack Of Supervision Of Night Entertainment Places

JAKARTA - Not long ago the Sub-Directorate of Youth, Children and Women (Renakta) of the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police succeeded in uncovering cases of exploitation of minors at Bar Starmoon, West Jakarta. A total of 12 suspects were arrested in this case.

Some consider that the case occurred due to the lack of supervision of nightclubs. This made the perpetrators dare to exploit minors.

West Jakarta Youth Leader, Umar Abdul Aziz highlighted the lack of supervision of nightclubs by the West Jakarta Metro Police under the leadership of Kombes Twedi Aditya Bennyahdi.

"Not only exploitation of minors, cases of theft with firearms are also increasingly violent in the jurisdiction of the West Jakarta Police," said Umar, in a statement received, Monday, August 11, 2025).

Umar asked the West Jakarta Police to more often monitor nightclubs and crime-prone points. According to him, if this case is not revealed how the state can welcome Indonesia Gold 2045.

"Do not let other victims. Luckily, the case was successfully uncovered by the Polda Metro Jaya and succeeded in arresting the perpetrators," he said.

As is known, in this case as many as 12 suspects with the initials TY alias BY; RH; VFO alias S; FW alias Mak C; EH alias Mami E; NR alias mami R; SS; OJN; HAR alias R; RH; Z; and FS alias F alias C were named suspects.

The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Ade Ary, said that the disclosure of the case was a follow-up to the police report Number: LP/B/2248/IV/2025/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA dated April 3, 2025.

"The case began when the victim with the initials SHM, 15, received a job offer via Facebook as a karaoke guide or ladies companion (LC) for a fee of Rp. 125 thousand per hour at a bar in the West Jakarta area called Bar Starmoon," said Ade Ary.

After starting work as a song guide, continued Ade Ary, it turned out that the victim was also asked to serve several men to have sex with a pay fee of Rp. 175 thousand to Rp. 225 thousand.

"Then SHM's parents made a report to the police after finding out that their child was 5 months pregnant after working at the bar," he explained.

Ade Ary said that his party secured 12 people who knew about the incident on Monday, July 28, 2025. The suspects have their respective roles. Meanwhile, the evidence that was secured, namely family cards, elementary school diplomas, and birth certificates in the name of SHH, the results of the post mortem et repertum of the Police Hospital, copies of the victim's child's fake ID card, cellphones of the victim's child, absent LC books, and expenses data.

The suspects were charged with Article 76D Jo. Article 81 and/or Article 76E Jo. Article 82 and/or Article 76 I Jo. Article 88 of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection.

Then, Article 12 and/or Article 13 of Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning the Crime of Sexual Violence (TPKS) and Article 2 of Law Number 21 of 2007 concerning the Crime of Trafficking in Persons (TPPO). '' With a maximum penalty of IDR 5 billion and a maximum imprisonment of 15 years," he concluded.
