4 Days Of Homecoming Ban, DKI Provincial Government Rejects 1,447 SIKM Submissions

JAKARTA - Since the first day of the homecoming ban until May 9, 2021, there have been 2,703 people who applied for an entry permit (SIKM) in Jakarta. Of the total submissions, more SIKM applications were rejected.

"There were 2,703 SIKM applications submitted with 1,079 SIKM issued and 1,447 SIKM rejected," said Head of DPMPTSP dki Jakarta Province, Benni Aguscandra in his statement, Monday, May 10.

Then, there are 177 SIKM applications still in the process of administrative research and technical research because it has just been submitted by the applicant.

The provinces with the most travel destinations from SIKM applicants are Central Java, West Java, and East Java. Then, the most applicant criteria is the visit of a sick family.

Benni said, the refusal of the officer to apply for SIKM generally occurs because the applicant is wrong in the application, either when filling in the wrong applicant data or the criteria of non-commudic travel that is not allowed.

"After going through the process of administrative research and technical research licensing SIKM, there are still many applicants who are wrong in applying for SIKM" he said.

A frequent mistake is that the applicant misrepresents the destination address and destination of the undue non-commutation such as homecoming trip, business trip.

Furthermore, Benny said that there are still applicants who falsify documents in the sikm submission.

"This is very worrying considering that every falsification of documents has violated the provisions of the law and there are strict sanctions," Benni said.

As is known, SIKM is a requirement for travelers to be allowed to travel outside the area during the Eid al-Fitr holiday ban this year.

SIKM holders during travel for non-medical purposes must bring PCR or antigen or GeNose swabs stating the negatives of COVID-19 and samples are taken within a maximum of 1 x 24 hours prior to departure.

There are only five types of applicants for SIKM that will get approval. They are people who travel on family visits due to illness, funeral visits of deceased family members, pregnant or maternity mothers, pregnant women's escorts up to 1 person, and maternity escorts maximum 2 people.

SIKM is created online through Jakevo's page in https://jakevo.jakarta.go.id. Initially, the applicant opens a page and creates an account in Jakevo, then searches for the village they live in. After that, select the type category of application to see the required conditions.

After SIKM is submitted, the filling of information will be verified by a team from the Investment Office and One-Door Integrated Services (Dinas PMPTSP). Once verified, sikm authentication is signed by the local lurah electronically.

Meanwhile, for state civil servants (ASN) who want to make an emergency trip, they must attach a minimum letter of duty from echelon II officials in order to obtain SIKM. For private employees, they should get a travel letter from the chairman.
