Promotor Officially Announces The Cancellation Of The 2025 Joyland Festival In Jakarta

JAKARTA - The 2025 Joyland Festival, which was originally to be held in Jakarta on November 28-30, was officially canceled. This was announced by Plainsong Live as the promoter today, August 11.

"After thinking about and considering many things, we have made a difficult decision that the Joyland Festival will not be held this year as previously planned," Plainsong Live wrote in a post on its Instagram account @joylandfest.

They did not clearly explain the reasons for the cancellation of this year's festival. What can be conveyed is the lack of confidence to be able to give maximum excitement with the existing conditions.

"For 2025, we chose to step down in order to remain loyal to our identity and to respect the experiences we believe Joyland should present," the statement continued.

For this cancellation, Plainsong Live stated that it was fully responsible for the full refund system. They also ensure that this process will be carried out as smoothly as possible.

Spectators who have purchased tickets will receive an email from the organizers. Furthermore, the process can be carried out by following the instructions written in the email.

The application for a refund is open from today, August 11 to August 31, 2025. The promoter also explained that the refund process would take around 14 to 20 working days.
