Good News From KKP, Five Indonesian Fishermen Arrested By Malaysian Authorities Have Been Released

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) through the Directorate General of Marine Resources and Fisheries managed to free as many as five Indonesian fishermen from North Sumatra who were captured by Malaysian authorities." All five are known to have been in detention in Malaysia before being released. Furthermore, Antam explained that the Psdkp KKP Directorate General team led by the Director of Fleet Monitoring and Operations, after receiving an arrest report from apmm, immediately coordinated with the Transportation Attaché and the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Kuala Lumpur to carry out the steps of the fishermen's release."
