Preparations For The 2025 Independence Cup Have Been Completed 100 Percent
JAKARTA - Preparation for the 2025 Independence Cup which will be held at the North Sumatra Main Stadium on August 12-18, 2025 is confirmed to have been completed. This was conveyed by the PSSI representative who stated that preparations were 100 percent.
"The preparations have reached 100 percent," said PSSI Executive Committee, Arya Sinulingga, after a coordination meeting on preparations for the 2025 Independence Cup at the North Sumatra Governor's Office, quoted from Antara on Monday, August 11, 2025.
In preparation, the security aspect is the most maximized. This is to ensure the assurance of concerns during the implementation.
"The implementation will be good and don't worry about watching. Please watch it happily," said Arya.
The 2025 Independence Cup will feature four countries that are also participants in the 2025 U-17 World Cup in Qatar on 3-27 November 2025, namely Indonesia as the host, as well as Uzbekistan, Mali, and Tajikistan as guests.

The three countries invited to the 2025 Independence Cup have a prestigious track record, such as Uzbekistan's 2025 U-17 Asian Cup champion, Mali's second place in the 2025 U-17 Africa Cup, and Tajikistan's 2025 Asian Cup finalists.
"Anyway, we want to provide the best spectacle for people in North Sumatra. This is entertainment for all of us," said Arya.
His party also appreciated the support from the Provincial Government (Pemprov) of North Sumatra at the first event of the international football event outside Java.
"Basically, the 2025 Independence Cup is expected to provide a fun spectacle for people in North Sumatra," said Arya again.
Head of the North Sumatra Province Youth and Sports Service, Mahfullah Daulay, said security in the area from and to the Main Stadium of North Sumatra was also prepared.
The North Sumatra Provincial Government has prepared free parking for thousands of two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles within the North Sumatra Sport Center, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra.
