Nadiem Makarim Affirms Key Technology To Conquering The World In Today's Memory, 11 August 2022

He also wants his breakthroughs to be able to produce abundant profits. The narrative then resulted in Gojek. The online-based transportation service provider company requires many Indonesian people.

Nadiem is considered to be able to offer convenience. Anyone who needs two or four-wheeled transportation, just open the application. This condition makes Gojek known as a technology giant in Indonesia.

This condition made Jokowi attracted. The Indonesian president then moved to ask Nadiem to help him as Minister of Education and Culture (Mendikbud) in 2019. Nadiem is considered to be able to bring school children close to technology.

This condition is believed to lead to many technological innovations in the field of education. Nadiem's presence did get criticism. However, Nadiem continued to move to show his capacity. He began to make big breakthroughs.

He tried to eliminate the National Examination (UN). Jokowi even thought of giving Nadiem additional authority. Nadiem was then appointed as Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Mendikbudristek) in 2021. As a result, Nadiem is considered to be able to produce many technological breakthroughs in the field of education.

"By Allah, I swear that I will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution and will carry out all laws and regulations as straight as possible. Everything is for the sake of my service to the nation and state".

"That in carrying out my duties, I will uphold the ethics of my position. Work as well as possible with a full sense of responsibility," said Nadiem's oath of office in front of President Jokowi as quoted on Kompas.com page, April 28, 2021.

This position made Nadiem even more confident in spreading the spirit of technology love to school children. Take for example when Nadiem gave a speech in front of International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) participants on August 11, 2022.

Nadiem emphasized to school children the importance of mastering technology. This ability must be possessed by young people because mastery of technology is considered an important lesson in conquering the world. This method can make many people proud.

"You know, my background before becoming a minister? I am involved in the world of technology because I know that in the future the world will develop very quickly and one of the talents in this field will support that need," Nadiem said as quoted by the JPNN page, August 11, 2022.
