Puan Invites 3 Banteng Cadres To Leave PDIP If You Want To Move To PSI

JAKARTA - PDIP DPP chairman Puan Maharani invited three of her party cadres to leave PDIP, if they no longer want to fight with the party bearing the bull symbol.

Puan emphasized this in response to the news that there were three PDIP cadres who wanted to move to the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI).

"If then someone, or 3 people or how many people, doesn't want to be in the PDI struggle, just please (out of PDIP, ed)," said Puan at the DPR building, Monday, August 11.

Previously, three former PDIP cadres reportedly joined as PSI cadres. The three are Ginda Ferachtriawan, Dyah Retno Pratiwi, and also a former member of the Solo DPRD, Wawanto.

Ginda is said to have joined PSI before the Congress, while Dyah and Wawanto joined PSI on Friday, August 1.

It is known, PSI rebranded to become the Super Tbk Party after holding a Congress that chose Kaesang Pangarep as the general chairman (Ketum) of PSI for the period 2025-2030 in Solo on 19-20 July. Currently, the party bearing the rose symbol has changed its logo to a red head elephant.

In the Congress, the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo was also present and was rumored to have served as the PSI Board of Trustees.
