On Social Media Circulating Jokowi Homecoming, Let's Check The Truth
JAKARTA - On social media circulated a video of President Joko Widodo's entourage being given nrasi he was returning home aka homecoming when the government issued a policy of banning homecoming on May 6-18, 2021 to prevent an increase in cases of COVID-19.
One of the Twitter accounts that uploaded this information was @FKadrun who uploaded it on Saturday, May 8.

In the 41-second video footage, it appears that the officers escorting the car, referred to as the RI-1, refer to President Joko Widodo.
"This is Letter B. If this is home or homecoming ni? Kek this ni, wey, go home what homecoming is it? Tuh Letter B all," said the video recorder.
"Already open the area, home village, RI-1 home village tuh, RI-1 home village, woi," said the video recorder.
Based on the search, the video was president Jokowi's visit to East Java on Thursday, May 6. In East Java, Jokowi reviewed the Brondong Fish Marketing and Distribution Center (PPDI) located in Lamongan Regency, East Java.
Then, Jokowi went to the facilities and infrastructure of the fishery facilities and had a dialogue with local fishermen representatives.
Finally, Jokowi headed to Surabaya to visit the waste treatment facility into electrical energy (PSEL) located at the Benowo Landfill, Surabaya City. The facility that will be a pilot for the development of waste management into electrical energy in other areas was inaugurated by President Jokowi.

Earlier, Presidential Spokesman Fadjroel Rachman confirmed, President Jokowi will not go home to Solo.
"The president has also conveyed Eid al-Fitr is not homecoming. Mas Gibran (Jokowi's son) has also said, 'My father is President Joko Widodo he will not go back to Solo," Fadjroel said on April 27.
