Gyokeres And Havertz Nykor Against Bilbao, Arsenal's Front Line Begins To Threaten?
JAKARTA - Arsenal got a positive result from the pre-season match on Saturday, August 9 yesterday. Entertaining Athletic Bilbao at the Emirates Stadium, they won convincingly with a score of 3-0.
Interestingly two goals came from two mainstay attackers, namely Viktor Gyokeres and Kai Havertz. While one goal was scored by Bukayo Saka over Gabriel Martinelli's assist.
The goal in that match became the first since Gyokeres wore the Arsenal uniform. The striker also celebrated typically which fans had been waiting for for for a long time, commonly called a mask on.
In some pre-season games Gyokeres only had time to play for a few minutes. Fans started to get restless when he failed to register his name on the scoreboard, until the technical header he threw into Bilbao's goal.
When Gunners fans celebrate Gyokeres, a positive signal comes from Kai Havertz who comes in to replace the wearer number 14. Kai managed to do something that rocked the stadium.
Starting from a rapid transition, Havertz ran from before the middle of the field. The individual action leads to a ball lodged in the opponent's goal. Havertz proved his class.

The fans expressed their admiration. "Since when did Havertz become this fast?" they asked after watching the brilliant goal.
The sharp Arsenal attack line is a good sign, raising optimism for the North London team to win a prestigious title this season. So far they have experienced a crisis in the end of attacks, allegedly due to the absence of pure strikers and injury factors.
Havertz and Gyokeres became the main focus of Gooners when Gabriel Jesus injured his knee and has not shown maximum performance. Merino, who was a 'tradition' striker, will also be more comfortable playing in his position in midfield.
Will Arsenal be able to end the title fast in the 2025/2026 season? The English Premier League will roll back on August 16.
