National Working Meeting, NasDem Pursues The Top 3 Positions In The 2029 Legislative Election To Declare Rejecting Separation Of National-Regional Elections
JAKARTA - The NasDem Party in the National Working Meeting (Rakernas) I set a target to be able to occupy the position of the top 3 votes in the upcoming 2029 Legislative Election.
The effort to dominate the 2029 election was revealed by the Deputy Secretary General of the NasDem Party, Dedy Ramanta, to be the party's big agenda in the future.
"The general summary is that the NasDem target of being in the top 3 positions in the 2029 election can be achieved," said Dedy in Makassar, Sunday, August 10.
Dedy revealed, in today's closed National Working Meeting, NasDem submitted a number of political attitudes recommendations. One of them is the idea of structuring an open electoral system which is modified with a proportional quota.
Then, NasDem stated that the Constitutional Court (MK) Decision Number 135/PUU-XXII/2024 which separates national elections and local elections exceeds authority.
"Changing constitutional norms is the domain of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR). NasDem urges the DPR to initiate constitutional dialogue involving the MPR, President, and related state institutions, in order to ensure that all national life events are subject to the 1945 Constitution," explained Dedy.
