JCI On Wednesday Was Closed With A Rebound Of 1.46 Percent To 4,567.56
JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) managed to strengthen at the close of trading Wednesday, April 2. JCI closed up 1.56 percent or 65.64 points to 4,567.56 levels.
Closing the trade, there were 172 stocks rising, 213 stocks weakening, and 152 stocks stagnating. The trading volume was recorded at 9.14 billion shares and was transacted for IDR 7.58 trillion.
Binaartha Sekuritas analyst, M. Nafan Aji Gustama, said that currently the market highly appreciates Trump's fourth stimulus program, which was approved by the US Senate.
"The stimulus program is aimed at reducing the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the performance of the US economy," Nafan told VOI.
This afternoon, stocks that were among the top gainers, including PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) which rose 19.21 percent to Rp1,210, PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SMGR) which gained 16.95 percent to become IDR 6,900, and PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) which strengthened 16.62 percent to IDR 2,070.
Meanwhile, stocks that are in the top losers ranks, including PT Putra Rajawali Kencana Tbk (PURA) which weakened 6.90 percent to Rp81, PT London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk (LSIP) which fell 6.52 percent to Rp645, and PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADR) which weakened to Rp885.
