IDX Reveals Average Daily Transaction Frequency in the IDX Market Rises to 1.04 Million Times

JAKARTA – The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) announced that stock trading data on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) closed with mixed results for the week of August 4-8, 2025.

The highest increase occurred in the average daily transaction frequency during the week, which increased by 10.92 percent, to 1.04 million transactions, up from 978,000 transactions last week.

The average daily transaction value on the IDX also increased by 6.41 percent to IDR 17.07 trillion, up from IDR 16.05 trillion the previous week.

Meanwhile, the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) changed 0.06 percent during the week, closing at 7,533,385, up from 7,537,768 last week.

Furthermore, the IDX market capitalization changed 0.33 percent to IDR 13,555 trillion, up from IDR 13,599 trillion the previous week.

The average daily trading volume on the Stock Exchange this week also changed by 7.79 percent to 30.01 billion shares, up from 32.55 billion shares the previous week.

Foreign investors recorded a net selling value of IDR 510.92 billion on Friday, August 8th, and for the whole of 2025, foreign investors recorded a net selling value of IDR 61.857 trillion.
