SIPA 2025 Introduces Patricia Arstuti As Ambassador, Representation Of Gen Z Creative Spirit

JAKARTA In the midst of digital flows and rapid cultural landscape changes, the Solo International Performing Arts (SIPA) 2025 presents a new face that represents a young, creative, and traditional spirit.

She is Patricia Arstuti Pramesti Putri, the figure who is now officially appointed as the Ambassador of SIPA 2025.

Patricia, or familiarly called Asti, is not just a public figure who is active on social media. The woman who was born in Jakarta, September 2, 2001, graduated from the International Communication Science Program at Gadjah Mada University and is currently studying the Master of Political Communication at the University of Indonesia.

In her daily life, Patricia actively shares content about Indonesian culture, especially kebaya, with her tens of thousands of followers on Instagram. The upload is not just aesthetic matters, but a reflection of her commitment to preserving culture through a medium that is closely related to the younger generation, the spirit that SIPA always carries.

"In the midst of the dynamics of a fast-paced space, this space like SIPA becomes very important because it becomes a bridge between the younger generation and Indonesian culture," he said.

The election of Patricia as the ambassador of this international art festival is not without reason. SIPA Director, Dr. R. Ay. Irawati Kusumorosri, M.Sn, called Patricia a representation of Generation Z which is able to bridge traditional values with contemporary expressions.

"He reflects SIPA's spirit: dynamic, inclusive, and rooted in cultural diversity," he said.

This year, SIPA carries the theme Nify, Artful & Visionary, which reflects the creative energy of the younger generation and their courage to voice new ideas through art. Patricia is the embodiment of that theme, a visionary young, active young person in the digital world, and at the same time respecting cultural roots.

Apart from being the face of the SIPA public, Patricia is also actively involved in various creative projects during the festival. She will be present in various programs, ranging from welcoming dinners, cultural dialogue sessions, to accompanying international delegates in the main performance at Pamedan Pura Mangkunegaran.

SIPA 2025 itself will be held on September 4'6, 2025 at Pamedan Pura Mangkunegara and is open to the public for free. This festival will present performances from Indonesian and foreign artists such as the United States, South Korea, Taiwan, the Netherlands, and others. Various other activities such as SIPA Showcase Stage, SIPA Urban Market, and art performances at ISI Surakarta will also enliven the agenda.

SIPA is also part of the Karisma Nusantara event promoted by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, so that apart from being an art event, this festival also plays a role in the cultural diplomacy and promotion of Indonesian tourism.

"The SIPA journey, which has reached 17 years, has had an extraordinary multiplier effect," he said.

With Patricia's presence as an ambassador, SIPA 2025 is expected not only to be a stage for performing arts, but also an intergenerational collaboration space.
