The Body Of Prada Lucky, A Victim Of Senior Persecution, Was Buried Today

The body of Prada Lucky Chepril Saprutra Namo, an Army soldier who died allegedly due to his senior abuse, was buried in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara.

"Today he is buried at the Kapadala TPU," said Sergeant Major Christian Namo, Prada Lucky's father, in Kupang, Saturday, August 9, as reported by ANTARA.

He said the funeral procession would begin with a joint prayer at the funeral home which is located inside the Kuanino TNI dormitory area.

Christian said the funeral process was only carried out on Saturday because it was waiting for his older sister to arrive in Kupang today.

Even though his son's body has been buried, continued Christian, the legal process against the alleged perpetrators of the persecution of Prada Lucky still has to run.

"I hope the legal process is carried out transparently and the perpetrators must be prosecuted," he continued.

At the location, a number of residents, family and close friends of the late Prada Lucky continued to arrive to attend the funeral procession.

Prada Lucky was previously reported to have died at a hospital in Nagekeo on Wednesday (6/8) after undergoing treatment for several days, allegedly due to abuse by a number of his seniors.

Previously, the Regional Military Command IX/Udayana said that 20 TNI AD soldiers were being investigated to investigate the case of the death of Prada Lucky Chepril Saputra Namo.

"What we received was information about 20 people, but in the capacity to be questioned and that was only asked for information. Later on, we will continue to run to the applicable process from the investigation team," said Deputy Head of Pendam IX/Udayana Lt. Col. Inf. Amir Syarifudin in Denpasar, Bali.

Amir said the 20 people examined as witnesses were in the same unit as Prada Lucky on duty. Of the 20 people being examined, four people were arrested by Subdenpom Kupang.

However, Amir said the status of the four people was not yet known for certain whether they were arrested as suspected perpetrators or in other capacities. The investigation process is ongoing.

"What are the four people's capacities? Is he in detention in nature to secure or is he the suspected (not yet known). We respect the ongoing investigation process," he said.
