Honda CR-V E:FCEV Becomes Official Car IAAF World Championships Tokyo 2025
JAKARTA - Reflecting on the commitment to supporting sustainable mobility as well as playing an active role on the international sports stage, Honda and IAAF (International Amateur Athletic Federation) are collaborating.
In this collaboration, the Honda CR-V e:FCEV car model was appointed as the official vehicle at the IAAF World Championships Tokyo 2025 event, which took place on September 13-21, 2025. Later, the car will support the committee's mobility needs, officials, and guests of honor.
Honda CR-V e:FCEV is the world's first environmentally friendly SUV to combine hydrogen fuel cell technology with plug-in charging capabilities.
This dual technology allows vehicles to fully operate without exhaust emissions, while offering flexibility in charging. With a range of more than 600 km and a short hydrogen charging time.

As is known, the Honda CR-V e:FCEV was first introduced at the 21st International Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Exhibition event in Tokyo on March 1, 2024.
Not long ago, this vehicle won the 'Technology Car of the Year' award in the 2024-2025 Japan Car of the Year Awards, which was awarded by the Japan Car of the Year Executive Committee. This result confirmed its position as one of the most significant automotive technological innovations today.
