Sido Muncul Provides Herbal Medicine Training For Angkringan Traders In Yogyakarta

JAKARTA - PT Industri Jamu dan Pharmacy Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) memberikan pelatihan membuci jamu untuk ratusan pedagang angkringan di Yogyakarta. Lokasi pelatihan berada di The Westlake Resto, Jalan Ring Road Barat, Baturan, Kelurahan Trihanggo, Kapanewon Gamping, Kabupaten Sleman, pada Kamis, 31 Juli pagi.

Present at the event was Director of Sido Muncul, Irwan Hidayat. He shared his struggle experience in starting herbal medicine businesses casually but inspiringly so that participants are motivated to continue to pursue their business.

"I gave motivation earlier that they are great, and everything can develop if managed properly. The key to success is that the products must be good, clean, and the price makes sense. I hope they can become successful angkringan and can continue to grow," said Irwan.

Irwan also shared examples of how he started from scratch to reaching the point like now, with the hope that angkringan sellers could get inspiration to move forward.

Irwan emphasized that his party does not require angkringan to sell Sido Muncul products. They are free to present herbal medicine from any brand.

"There is no monopoly. I do not require angkringan to sell Sido Muncul products. That's not what we mean," he explained.
