Santi Sardi, Putri Idris Sardi Dies At The Age Of 56

JAKARTA - Sad news came from the entertainment world. Santi Sardi, a former child singer in the 70s era who is the daughter of composer and biolist Idris Sardi passed away today, Friday, August 8, 2025.

Santi Sardi passed away at the age of 56, after being treated at Kramat 128 Hospital, Central Jakarta. Lukman Sardi, Santi's sister shared the sad news through social media.

"Sad news, Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun. Has passed away to the grace of Allah, at the age of 56 years, brothers, children, our beloved aunt Nour Risanti bint Idris Sardi," wrote Lukman Sardi on Instagram, August 8.

Lukman also shared an old photo of his brother who had returned to God's lap. He said goodbye with great love.

"Hi Mbak... Mbak Santi's job has been completed in this world... even though the sense of loss is so great, the important thing is that Ms. Santi is no longer sick... we will all miss Mbak Santi. Now Ms. Santi is calm in eternal peace... Rest In Love Mbak, and hug papa close.. Love you much Mbak ," wrote the actor.

Santi Sardi pursues the world of singing at an early age. In the 70s he released several children's songs that were widely known to the public such as Mana Dia (1980) and Menabung (1974) which he performed with Titiek Puspa.

In addition, Santi is also involved in a number of feature films. Don't Cry Mama and Gema Hati Singing are two of them that make her remembered as a multitalented child artist.
