Hit By A Bus Agency, Motorcyclist Dies, Even Though He Is Already Using A Helem
JAKARTA - An unknown man was run over by a bus on Jalan Pengeran Tubagus Angke, Tambora, West Jakarta, on Friday, August 8, 2025.
A witness at the location, Wardi (60) admitted that the victim initially drove from the direction of the Tambora Police and was about to overtake the bus which was also still driving on the right side of the road.
"So at first he slipped the bus on the right, it was narrow, right. Finally, when he fell, he fell into the back of the bus," Wardi told reporters at the location.
The victim's fate ended badly because the bus tire ran over him right on the head so he died instantly.

"Yes, he died on the spot. Even though he was wearing a helmet earlier. It (pointed to the accident point) the helmet and sandals are still there," said Wardi.
Wardi added that the fatal accident that occurred at 08.00 WIB caused Jalan Pengeran Tubagus Angke to be badly jammed.
"The total traffic jam. Finally, the police arrived at around 09.00 WIB. The victim was transported by an ambulance, then his motorbike was taken by the police," said Wardi.
Information said that the helmet used by the victim was not an SNI (Indonesian National Standard) helem. The Helem was shocked until it was separated into several parts. In addition to Helem, the victim's sandals also appeared to be still at the location.
