Street Vendors Victims Of Preman Atrocities In The HI Roundabout Area Claim To Be Stressed Often

Street vendors (PKL) of cilok food who were victims of bullying and abuse in the HI Roundabout area, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, expressed their disappointment with law enforcement officers and the government through video recordings that went viral on social media.

In uploading the disappointment video, the victim complained about the economic conditions he experienced, getting more difficult in 2025.

In addition to feeling the lack of buyers and trade turnover, according to him, he also often gets burglary almost every night while selling in the HI Roundabout area, Central Jakarta.

"It's a bad matter of security again. Moreover, it's only been hit every night with thugs. It's really scary. Especially the HI Roundabout area, Sudirman area. Sometimes I think until I'm stressed," complained the cilok trader.

This makes him confused about who his fate will be. The head of the government, especially the President of the Republic of Indonesia, hopes that the economy can recover and people's purchasing power will increase.

"I don't think what Gusti Allah chose the wrong Indonesia, opo Mergo chose the wrong president, opo was indeed the fate of the crew again. But my friends from traders yo and complaints," he said with resignation.

Bahkan dirinya juga telah menjadi korban jambret sebanyak 3 kali di kawasan Bundaran HI, Jakarta Pusat, selamat berjual.

The victim has not made an official report at the Tanah Abang Metro Police regarding the incident of bullying and abuse he experienced on Thursday night, August 7, 2025.

Head of Public Relations of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Iptu Ruslan, said that currently the Tanah Abang Police Criminal Investigation Unit is still conducting an investigation.

Previously, cilok traders who passed by to sell in the HI Roundabout area, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, were subjected to thugs' tantrums on Thursday night, August 7, 2025.
